Sweet Potato Fries with Honey Quark Dip May 17, 2018 by bbfadmin This stellar side amps up a weeknight dinner into something truly delicious! The dip couldn’t be easier, and features our Heritage Select Honey. The tangy quark, a fresh German-style cheese, is balanced from the bright mustard and sweet Heritage Select Honey for an addictive dip to accompany roasted sweet potato fries. Feel free to add any of your favorite vegetables to the roasting pan….this dip is so delicious you’ll just want to put it on everything! For the quark, we like Vermont Creamery’s version, found at most grocery stores in the fresh dairy section. Sweet Potato Fries with Honey Quark Dip Serves: 2 | Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes Ingredients: 1 medium sweet potato 1/2 c. Quark 2 T. Heritage Select Honey 1 T. Mustard 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika 1 T. olive oil, butter, or your preferred cooking fat Salt, to taste Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. After a good scrub, portion your sweet potatoes into evenly sized matchsticks. We kept the skins on for added flavor. Season liberally with salt and olive oil/butter and place in an oven-safe dish (we used a cast iron pan but a baking sheet works just fine). Now for the dip! In a small bow, combine mustard, quark, paprika, honey, and salt and whisk gently. Taste. Add more of any ingredient to taste. Chill in fridge until ready to serve. When the oven reaches temperature, roast the fries for 20 minutes, checking after ten. Watch for some color, and test with a knife or fork to make sure fries are cooked all the way through. Allow fries to cool for a few minutes, and then serve with delicious dip! We dare you to eat just one. Enjoy!
