Honey is recommended by the World Health Association (for those over one year old) to soothe sore throats and tame coughs. This got us thinking….what’s healthful, warm, and bright to counter this landscape of grey? Et viola, the Bumbleberry Farms Honey Turmeric Tonic was born. This endlessly adaptable, addictive elixir is a triple threat with the healing powers of honey, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, and ginger. Bumbleberry Farms Honey Turmeric Tonic Prep Time: 5 minutes | Brew Time: 5 minutes | Servings: 2 Ingredients 1 teabag of your favorite ginger tea 2 tsp. ground turmeric 1 T. Bumbleberry Farms Heritage Select Honey 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar Step two. Step five. Enjoy! Fill your favorite tea kettle with water and place on stove top over medium high heat. While water heats, whisk together apple cider vinegar and turmeric powder. Add in honey and a splash of the heating water to whisk and further dissolve mixture. Once water heats to just before a boil (190 degrees F), pull off burner and begin to steep ginger tea in teapot. Carefully pour in turmeric/vinegar/honey mixture. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
